According to Lafayette Consolidated Government, the I-10 Westbound Off Ramp at LA 182 (University Avenue) will have alternating lane closures on Saturday, September 7.
That work will happen from 7:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m., weather permitting. This closure is necessary to allow crews to begin concrete patching operations.
LCG says the road will be open to regular traffic with a 12-foot lane restriction on oversized loads passing through the work zone. Emergency vehicles will have access to the area.
DOTD asks that motorists drive with caution and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment.
