Republic Services is scheduled to resume trash pickup in Lafayette on Friday, August 28.
Laura caused the suspension of Thursday’s garbage and recycling collection. Because of this Thursday customers will be serviced on Friday, and customers who are normally scheduled for Friday pickup will be serviced on Saturday.
Republic Services asks for customers’ patience as collection volume is expected to be larger than normal.
