The Lafayette Public Works Department says that the Railroad crossing at Hollier Road will be closed on Wednesday, March 4.
The closure is scheduled to take place from 6:00 am to 12:00 pm to perform repairs to the railroad crossing.
The crossing is just north of US 90.
BNSF is expected to finish the work on Wednesday.
Detour routes will be set up for drivers in the area. Local access will be maintained, according to Public Works.
