Lafayette Police have arrested one suspect involved in a shooting along W. Willow Street in Lafayette on Monday.
Lafayette Police spokesperson Sgt. Wayne Griffin says that two people in separate vehicles were involved in a shooting. The two fled before police arrived.
While headed to the scene, an officer spotted a vehicle that was involved in the shooting. A traffic stop was made and officers arrested one suspect.
Sgt Griffin says the other person involved has not been located. No injures were reported.
W. Willow was briefly blocked off during the investigation but has since reopened to traffic.
