The Lafayette Police Department is seeking the public's assistance in identifying a suspect who removed catalytic converters from two vehicles parked at a local business.

Police say that on December 30, the suspect proceeded to the parking lot of Flowers Etc. and removed the catalytic converters for both store vans.

Through the help of surveillance cameras, police were able to determine that the suspect was driving an older model black or green Chevrolet pickup truck with a "distinct paint job."

Anyone with information on the thefts or who can offer any assistance, is urged to contact the Lafayette Police Department or Lafayette Crime Stoppers at 232-TIPS.

Tips can also be submitted by using the P3 Tips Mobile App.

All callers remain anonymous and the department says that callers could earn up to $1,000 cash reward.
