Lafayette Police say a juvenile girl was injured in a shooting Sunday evening on S. June Drive.
According to spokesperson for the department Corporal Bridgette Dugas, the shooting occurred in the 100 block of S. June Drive at around 8:00 p.m. September 1.
Police say the juvenile girl was shot and is in critical condition. She was transported to a local hospital.
A suspect is in custody at this time.
No other information was released. Police are continuing to investigate.
