LAFAYETTE, La. — The Picard Group will present a webinar on Friday on the recently negotiated federal stimulus package and other policy measures in response to the Corona Virus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) public health emergency.

Downtown Lafayette Unlimited announced on Thursday that it will partner with One Acadiana, LEDA, United Way of Acadiana, and other local, regional, and state organizations to host the webinar on the COVID-19 federal response and what it means for small businesses.

The presenters from the Picard Group are Director of Federal Affairs Emily Bacque and Deputy Director of Federal Affairs Hunter Hall.

Bacque and Hall will present a high-level federal policy update on action by Congress in response to COVID-19, including the recently negotiated stimulus package.

Tyron Picard will then facilitate a Q&A session to address questions from webinar participants.

According to a release from DLU, the live webinar will be limited to 150 participants due to system limitations, but it will be recorded and widely shared by partner organizations afterwards.

DLU notes that while Q&A might not have time to take all questions, all questions will be recorded and they will work to provide timely responses.

The webinar video will be available shortly after the webinar ends at: www.OneAcadiana.org/COVID-19-Resources.

Registration for the webinar can be made here.
