There will be a pet supply giveaway Saturday in Lafayette.
The supplies will be distributed to rescues, shelters or anyone needing help with pet food, leashes, collars, flea medicine and more.
The event will take place at the Lafayette Animal Shelter & Care Center located at 613 Pont Des Mouton starting at 9:30 am until all 3,500 pounds of supplies are gone.
Cajun Coast Search & Rescue, Spay Bay and Bonnie's Purpose are the sponsors of the event.
