The Lafayette Police Department is asking for help from the public in identifying a person of interest involved in a theft from a local gym.
Police say the incident occurred at a business in the 3500 block of Ambassador Caffery Parkway on June 9 at 11:00 am.
The suspect was captured on a surveillance camera forcibly entering a gym locker and removing an item of jewelry. The item, police say, is valued at approximately $5,000.
Anyone with information on the theft or person involved is asked to contact the Lafayette Police Department or Lafayette Crime Stoppers at 232-TIPS.
