Peoples Health made a donation of personal protective equipment to Louisiana Council on Aging locations.
On Friday, the Lafayette Council on Aging on Scott was presented with face masks and hand sanitizer to help protect their front-line workers and recipients of meal delivery programs.
Peoples Health and Council on Aging teamed up to provide 1,000 face masks and hand sanitizers to meal delivery teams.
The protective equipment will offer security to both the delivery workers and recipients of Louisiana Councils on Aging's meal delivery programs, including socially isolated, home bound and undeserved seniors within the community
