LAFAYETTE, La. - A cyclist is recovering after being struck by a vehicle Tuesday morning.
The person on a bike was struck by an F-350 truck in the 1400 block of W. University Avenue at its intersection with West Congress in Lafayette.
The 55-year-old cyclist was transported to a local hospital with a sever injury to the leg and is listed in stable condition, according to a spokesperson for Lafayette Police Dept.
The driver did not receive a citation.
