The owner of Southern Seasonings in Broussard is retiring this year.
Owner Tom Riggs bought the business when it was called Boute's back in the 90's, and has managed the business for the last 30 years.
Riggs tells us that passing the torch and retiring is going to be tough.
"I'm going to miss the employees a lot of those are like my children. It's going to be very difficult to slow down from running a business like this one," Riggs said.
Southern Seasonings sells spice mixes, bean mixes, sauces, seasonings, and more nationwide.
