UPDATE: Exit 92 from I-10 East in Duson has reopened after an 18-wheeler carrying beer products overturned Wednesday morning.
The Duson Police Department was on the scene December 23 as crews recovered the vehicle and began cleanup efforts.
Around noon on Wednesday, the police department updated that the tractor portion of the rig had been up righted and that the trailer was being turned back up right.
All of the beer product was collected by the recovery company and disposed of, according to the department.
The closure was extended by two to three hours as crews worked to clean the roadway.
As of 3:00 pm the exit ramp is now open.
