Ochsner Lafayette General will be administering COVID-19 testing from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Friday at the Domingue Center.
Ochsner Lafayette General says that testing is open to Louisiana residents of all ages and those who may be asymptomatic.
People who wish to be tested should bring a valid ID and insurance card, if applicable. There are no out-of-pocket costs for those seeking a test and no one will be turned away based on their insurance status.
Testing will be conducted in a drive-thru setting and everyone should remain in the vehicle at all times.No more than four people should be in the vehicle when testing. We will also accommodate anyone who walks up, bikes up or is dropped off by public transportation.
Community members will receive their test results within 3 – 5 days via the MyHealth patient portal. Those with a positive result will also be contacted by phone.

Ochsner Lafayette General wil also be providing drive-thru flu shots.
On Saturday, October 24, Ochsner Lafayette General will host drive-thru flu shots. Vaccines will be administered to patients 18 and older. Masks must be worn and patients should remain in their vehicles.
Members of the community should bring a valid ID and insurance card, if applicable. There are no out-of-pocket costs for those who receive the flu vaccine.
