Nobody was injured, but four families are out of their homes tonight after a fire this afternoon.
Lafayette Firefighters were called to the Camellia Condominiums this afternoon.
When crews arrived on the scene, they found an electrical panel box was arcing and smoking. Firefighters were able to contain the fire to the area around the panel box.
The electrical damage will result in at least four apartments without electrical services. The number of residents impacted is unknown at this time, fire officials say.
