Residential waste collection will continue as normal for Mardi Gras Day in Lafayette.
LCG says that residential garbage and recycling waste will be collected on Tuesday, February 25 for customers in Lafayette Parish whose regular collection day is Tuesday
Customers should place their waste containers curbside on Monday evening for collection on Tuesday.
Republic Services waste collection schedule will remain the same for the entire week of Mardi Gras for the City of Lafayette and unincorporated areas of the parish.
LCG's Compost Facility at 400 Dugas Road will be closed on Mardi Gras day. The facility will re-open Wednesday, February 26 at 7:00 am.
