Christina Boudreaux owner of Board and Brush, describes her business as "a do-it-yourself wood workshop."
There are a wide variety of classes, workshops and even take-home kits offered.
"You schedule a class online, everybody gets to pick their own project, and you create your own artwork on a piece of wood," Boudreaux explains.
There are lots of pictures of projects and of the possibilities on the Board and Brush Facebook page here.
Boudreaux said the business is ready for customers.
"I'm excited. I've worked really hard to get to this point right here, excited to be in Broussard, and excited to help our customers make memories with a workshop," she says. "If you have not done a B&B workshop, you're missing out."
Boudreaux said she feels the location in Broussard - near the intersection of US 90 and Albertson's Parkway - will be a good one.
"I feel like it's an area that's definitely growing," she said. "If you're looking for something to do, we offer so many things. Check out our Facebook page."
