It's been reported for a couple days, but this morning UL Football Coach Billy Napier made it official: His hat is not in the ring for the Mississippi State job.
Here's the tweet:

On Friday, our media partners at The Advocate reported that Napier wasn't a candidate for the job.
Last month, coach Billy Napier’s name surfaced briefly for the Ole Miss head coaching job, The Advocate reported. Friday morning, when Joe Moorhead was fired as Mississippi State's head coach, Napier's name again surfaced as one of the top candidates.
That was just a day after UL announced that Napier and the school had agreed to a contract extension.
