Less than one week remains in early voting for the November 3rd election.

So far, more than 430,000 voters have cast ballots.

On Lafayette's Northside, El Sido's and the NAACP served lunch to early voters on Wednesday at the Martin Luther King Center.

Organizers say they don't care who people vote for, they just want people to make an informed vote.

"We're doing this as an appreciation for people coming out to early vote," explained Marja Broussard, President of the Lafayette NAACP. "Oftentimes, people wait until election day, something comes up, and they can't make it. During early voting, you have 10 whole days to come out and vote. So we appreciate people who do that, and we want to give them a 'thank you' for early voting."
