LAFAYETTE PARISH, La. - An Acadiana woman is hoping to return a lost dog to its owner.
But, the dog is from California.
After finding the dog and bringing it to the vet, the dog's chip revealed it's owner lives in Chino, California and has never been to Louisiana.
The dog went missing five months ago.
No details of how the dog ended up all the way here.
"Everybody wins, little Milo wins," Ashlyn Broussard, woman who found dog. "I just feel joy in my heart . I'm so excited that his mom and his little brothers and sisters will hopefully see him very very soon."
