The Clark Field Mardi Gras Indians are outside of Miami Moon in Lafayette and judging is about to get underway.
Each year, elaborate costumes are made in preparation for Mardi Gras day when they will be judged and a winner chosen.
The elaborate costumes are lavishly decorated and with feathers and beads, each telling a story for the wearer.
On Mardi Gras day, those participating meet at Miami Moon to perform.
