A man has been arrested in connection with a homicide investigation on S. College Road in Lafayette.
On February 9, 2021, the Western District of Louisiana United States Marshals Service Violent Offender Task Force and the Lafayette Police Department arrested the suspect accused of murdering 32-year-old Leo Jack who was found dead on February 4th inside a local apartment in the 700 block of S. College Road.
29-year-old Cody Guccione of Lafayette, was located by officers at a local motel at approximately 9:40 am. He was transported to the Lafayette Police Department for questioning and subsequently placed under arrest.
He was transported to the Lafayette Parish Correctional Center and booked for Second Degree Murder.
