LAFAYETTE, LA- The Lafayette City Council approved for customers to pay a rate increase for their electricity, water, and sewer.
These increases to customer rates are expected to go into effect beginning in November of next year.
Rates will increase by 3% on November 1st, 2023, and 2024.
Customers can expect to pay about four more dollars a month than the average.
