Luke Bryan concert at the Cajundome canceled

The Luke Bryan concert scheduled for October 28 at the Cajundome in Lafayette has been canceled.

The Cajundome announced the cancellation on Thursday. Those who purchased tickets through should receive automatic refunds in the next 30 days. Those who purchased through the Cajundome box office will need to call their offices 337-265-2113.

The Luke Bryan Proud To Be Right Here Tour was canceled due to COVID-19 safety concerns. Bryan's team released a statement on the musician's Facebook Page. New dates and locations for concerts were announced for 2021. Those locations do not include Louisiana.

"With the health and safety of my fans, team and venue staff being a top priority we feel it is best to postpone my Proud To Be Right Here Tour, sponsored by Lipton. We are excited to announce these new 2021 dates and are thankful for all the venues and teams who have worked with us to make these dates possible. We are going to bring you an incredible show in 2021 and I can't wait to see you there."

The Cajundome says that they are operating with limited staff and hours due to the pandemic, and asks that those who call to please leave "a clear message with your name, phone number and the event name" Customers can expect to hear back from the Manager within 7 days with refund information.
