On, Saturday, October 12, the Lafayette Parish School System Magnet Academies will host their second annual Magnet Academies Showcase.
The event will be held from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm at the Heymann Performing Arts Center.
There will be hands on activities and student performances along with information on program choices. Those include Health and Biomedical, Arts, Business, World Languages, Information Technology/Informatics, Law, Broadcasting & Journalism, STEM, advanced studies and the Navy and Air Force JROTC.

Options are available for all LPSS students grades pre-k through 12.
The event is open to the public.
Along with the event, online applications for the 2020-2021 school year will open at 9:00 a.m. the day of the event. Applications will close on January 15, 2020 at 11:30 p.m.
