Lafayette Deputies are investigating a homicide in the 100 block of Allegros Avenue near Duson.
The victim has been identified as 36-year-old Adam West of Duson. Deputies have one person in custody for questioning at this time.
The incident happened at 8:45 p.m. and deputies are still on scene.
