LAFAYETTE, La. — The Lafayette Parish Sheriff's Office is investigating a body found behind a residence in the 100 block of Fairfax Street in Lafayette.
According to LPSO, deputies arrived on scene at approximately 1 p.m. in relation to a caller indicating a body had been found
Upon arrival, LPSO said its deputies confirmed one individual was deceased.
LPSO officials identified the individual as James Hargrave, 52, of Lafayette.
LPSO said that the investigation remains ongoing.
