At their regular meeting tomorrow, the Lafayette Parish School Board is scheduled to authorize staff to advertise for a superintendent.
Of course, board members will do that after they're sworn in.
Last year, superintendent Don Aguillard retired. He was replaced by interim superintendent Irma Trosclair. Aguillard will now be on the other side of the bar; he'll be sworn in as a new board member tomorrow.
On the agenda is an item that would direct the Human Resources Department to advertise a vacancy and solicit applications for Superintendent of Schools.
