A Kentucky woman was arrested on Friday in what Lafayette Police are calling the largest seizure of Methamphetamine in the city's history.

Following a traffic stop on Saturday, police say approximately 23 pounds of Methamphetamine (10,415 grams) and 248 vials of THC Oil were located inside a vehicle.

The driver, identified as 61-year-old Vickie M. Watson of Kentucky, was arrested. Police say the traffic stop was part of an ongoing narcotics investigation.

Watson was booked into the Lafayette Parish Jail for Possession with Intent to Distribute Schedule II CDS (Meth) and Possession with Intent to Distribute Schedule I CDS (THC Oil) along with a traffic violation.

Her bond is set at $3,100,000.
