Lafayette Police are asking for help in solving an armed robbery that happened early Saturday at a local gas station.
Police were called to the station, in the 4000 block of West Congress, shortly before 5 a.m. on Saturday.
A man entered the store brandishing a handgun and demanded money from the register, as well as some cigarettes. He ran on foot near the 500 block of Guilbeau Road.
The man was wearing all black, a black bandana over his face and red tennis shoes. Here are pictures from the store's surveillance cameras:
Lafayette Police are asking anyone with information pertaining to the incident to call police or Lafayette Crime Stoppers at 232-TIPS.
