Local group looking for soldiers to support

My name is Kay Weatherford. I am one of three people starting up a non-profit organization to send care packages to deployed military from our area. Our group's name is Cajuns Support Military. We are contacting area media for a sample packing day. Wednesday November 13, 2019. We are trying to get our name out to the public so we can get names of area deployed military. We will start sending care packages monthly in January 2020. We are trying to get all things lined up. We were wondering if KATC would like to join us and help us spread the word about our organization. Please let me know if KATC would be joining us. A new non-profit group is gearing up to send care packages to deployed military from Acadiana.

Cajuns Support Military has started packing care packages - but they need the names of deployed military to send those packages to. The group plans to start sending out packages in January.

Today, they were packing boxes over at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Scott.
