Local dentist buying back Halloween candy for troops overseas

is giving back in a big way this Halloween. For the 4th year, they are sponsoring 'Operation Gratitude' to send treats to our troops overseas. Just bring in your excess Halloween candy from November 1-7 to their office at 1700 Kaliste Saloom Road, Bldg. 4, in Lafayette. Collection times are 8:00 am to 4:20 pm and Friday from 8:00 am to 1:30 pm. They will buy your excess Halloween candy for $1.00 a pound, up to $5.00 per child/adult. And the best part is, donations are going straight to our men and women serving our country overseas. Everyone is welcome to participate, and even if you didn't trick or treat, you can still make a donation during collection times.Thank you Barras Family Dentistry for setting an example to our community on how to pay it forward this Halloween! A local dentist is back again this year buying excess candy from Halloween and sending it overseas.

Barras Family Dentistry is sponsoring the 4th annual Operation Gratitude to send treats to our troops overseas. Those wanting to give their candy can bring it from November 1-7 to their office at 1700 Kaliste Saloom Road, Bldg. 4, in Lafayette. Collection times are 8:00 am to 4:20 pm and Friday from 8:00 am to 1:30 pm.

They will buy excess Halloween candy for $1.00 a pound, up to $5.00 per child/adult.

Donations are going straight to military serving our country overseas. Those without candy to give can still make a donation during collection times.
