A fundraiser and adoption day was held at Mattress Doctor in Youngsville on Saturday.
Precious Paw Prints Animal Rescue is in need of volunteers to help with the homeless, abused and neglected animals.
Their biggest need at this time is help by fostering rescued animals in the Acadia and Lafayette area.
During the last few months, they have seen a decrease with foster volunteers.
