Vermilionville Living History Museum & Folklife Park resumed the Saturday Cajun Jam Session and the Sunday Concert series this weekend.

"We are so happy to finally be able to safely bring these two lively events back to our historic village,"
says Jamie Dupuis, Director of Communications for Vermilionville.

The Saturday Cajun Jam Session Series includes some of the area's finest musicians. The free jam is held in the Performance Center of Vermilionville and is open to all skill levels - beginner to professional. Visitors are encouraged to stop by and listen.

The Sunday Concert Series, also known as Le Bal du Dimanche, features some of the areas hottest artists. This week's performer, T'Monde, performed live in the Performance Center.

Vermilionville officials say they take staff and visitor safety seriously.

All visitors are encouraged to wear masks and practice social distancing, and hand sanitizer is available throughout the village.

Dancing is not permitted at this time according to the newest government guidelines.
