A graduation ceremony will be held on Friday, July 31, for the LFD Training Academy.
The 103rd Recruit Academy consists of 13 recruits: 10 for Lafayette and 3 for Scott Fire Department. Senator Bill Cassidy will be the guest speaker.
The ceremony will take place at the Lafayette Fire Training Center lcoated at 300 N. Dugas Road on July 31 at 9 a.m.
The event will occur on the grounds as to ensure adequate social distancing.
