Lafayette Consolidated Government says that there will be no changes to the collection of residential waste on Labor Day in Lafayette Parish.

Republic Services will run their regular residential garbage, recycling and yard waste collection routes on Monday, September 2.

There will be no changes for residential service in the City of Lafayette and unincorporated areas of the parish the entire week of Labor Day.

Those who normally have their garbage and recycling picked up on Monday should place their waste containers at the curb, as normal, on Sunday evening.

The LCG Compost Facility at 400 N Dugas Road will be closed on Monday for the Labor Day holiday.

The facility will reopen on Tuesday, September 3 at 7:00 am.
