60 percent of the Lafayette Parish is without power according to Lafayette Mayor President Josh Guillory.

With the parish seeing such a large outage, a website resource showing what first responders are working on and facing as Delta moves through the area has become quite the list.

Lafayette911.org shows a large swath of calls from wire hazards, road hazards, and fire investigations that scroll far down the page. The resource usually has only a few calls at one time that officials in the parish may be responding to.

Our anchors Marcelle Fontenot and Jim Hummel say that in their time using that resource, they have never seen that many calls.
