LAFAYETTE, La. — Lafayette Travel President and CEO Ben Berthelot has named to Resilient Louisiana Commission Hospitality/Tourism Task Force on Monday.
According to a release from Lafayette Travel, Resilient Louisiana was created earlier this month by Gov. John Bel Edwards as a state commission charged with examining Louisiana’s economy amid the COVID-19 pandemic and making recommendations for more resilient business-related activities and commerce in the coming months.
The commission has a task force structure enabling the study of impacts and solutions in 15 critical sectors, the release adds, which will work to create a plan for Louisiana to regain stability in these uncertain times.
The Resilient Louisiana Commission Hospitality/Tourism Task Forcemeets virtually for the first time Tuesday, April 28.
