In three weeks, Lafayette organizations will hold a job fair for formerly incarcerated individuals and the public.

The event will take place on Thursday, July 25 from 10:00 am until 12:00 pm at the Martin Luther King Jr. Center in Lafayette.

Organizers say that booth space is still available for employers wanting to participate. There is no cost for a booth and companies can register online at eventbrite.com.

The job fair is presented by the Fellowship Full Gospel Ministries, the Lafayette Economic Development Authority, the Lafayette Parish Sheriff's Office, the Louisiana Workforce Commission, and the nonprofit organization VOTE - Voice of the Experienced.

Job seekers with questions can contact Charles Banks at 337-344-9345 or Cortney Breaux at 337-942-5678.
