A sign of progress over at Lafayette Regional Airport.
The airport held a "Topping Off" ceremony for the new terminal. Workers were on hand to sign the final beam before construction continues.
"This new terminal will bring us into the modern age with the terminal the old terminal was built in the 50s updated in the late 80s so now we'll have a much more modern airport and terminal to facilitate travel," Paul Segura Chairman of the Lafayette Airport Commission.
