Lafayette Recreation and Parks offers several classes.
For kids, there are Stretch and Grow Kids Fitness Classes offered at the Girard Recreation Center. The classes are on Thursdays from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. The classes are open to kids ages 5 to 14. Cost is $35.00 per month; it is a fun, action-packed fitness class where kids learn strength, endurance, flexibitlity, balance and how healthy foods fuel their bodies.
