The Lafayette Police Department has identified the victim in a homicide on S. College Road Thursday as 32-year-old Leo Leroy Jack of Lafayette.
LPD spokesperson Cpl. Bridgette Dugas said officers responded to a suspicious circumstance at a local apartment in the 700 block of S. College. Officers made contact with family members who said they located the victim deceased inside the apartment.
The cause of death is unknown at this time, but the incident is being investigated as a homicide, Dugas said. There are no suspects at this time.
Anyone with information pertaining to the homicide is urged to call Lafayette Police or Lafayette Crime Stoppers at 232-TIPS.
