Lafayette Police are asking for the public's assistance in identifying a suspect involved in a theft at a local hardware store.
According to police, the theft took place at Guidry's Hardware at 1818 Jefferson St. on August 21 at 3:30 a.m. The suspect is identified as a black male with multiple tattoos.
Anyone with information on the suspect or who may be able to offer law enforcement assistance, call Lafayette Police or Lafayette Crime Stoppers at 232-TIPS.
