Lafayette Police are investigating a shooting that occurred just before 7 p.m. on Saturday night at the intersection of Martin Luther King Jr. Drive and Town Homes Dr.
Public Information Officer Bridgette Dugas said shots were fired at 6:53 p.m.
Upon arriving, police found one victim with a non life-threatening gunshot wound.
The victim was transported to a local hospital and is not cooperating with the investigation.
There is no suspect information at this time and this is an ongoing investigation.
