The Lafayette Parks and Recreation Department has set the registration dates for fall youth sports.
Registration throughout Lafayette Parish officially starts on Saturday, August 3, 2019, and continues through Monday, August 19, 2019.
Fall youth sports offered by Lafayette Parks and Rec include tackle football for ages 9-13, flag football for ages 7-16, volleyball for ages 7-17, fast pitch softball for ages 8-15, and baseball for ages 8-13.
Proof of age and residency are required for registration.
Registration will take place through each of the six volunteer Youth Associations in the parish. These associations are:
BPA (Brown Park Athletics)
CSA (Cajun Sports Association)
CAYSI (Carencro Area Youth Sports, Inc.)
SATS (Scott Area Team Sports)
SLYSI (Southwest Lafayette Youth Sports, Inc.)
and SWA (SouthWest Athletics)
Residents in the former BYYA (Broussard/Youngsville Youth Association) area will register with CSA.
