Lafayette Parish Sheriff's Office seek identity of theft suspect

The Lafayette Parish Sheriff's Office are asking for help in identifying a person they say allegedly stole a wallet and gun a from a vehicle in Lafayette Parish.

Deputies say that on the morning of December 12, 2019, a wallet and a 9mm pistol were reported stolen from a vehicle in the 100 block of Grazing Trace Drive in Lafayette.

The victim’s debit cards were allegedly used multiple times at several different locations in Lafayette and Carencro, according to officials.

Detectives are requesting the public’s assistance to identify the individual whose image was obtained from surveillance systems at the Walmart in Carencro and the Walgreens located at 2517 Kaliste Saloom Rd.
