All Lafayette Parish School System schools and offices will be closed Friday, February 19, 2021.
LPSS says that based on assessment of facilities across the district, low water pressure, busted pipes, and heating issues remain a concern.
Staff will work through the weekend to address these issues in preparation for the reopening of schools on Monday, February 22, 2021.
LPSS is reminding students and families that Monday is an A day for 7th, 10th, & 11th-grade students, while 6th and 9th-grade students will join elementary, 8th, and 12th-grade students for daily in-person instruction.
