LAFAYETTE, La. — Lafayette Mayor-President Josh Guillory gives an update on damage including downed trees and power lines after Hurricane Delta moves out of Lafayette Parish.

Guillory said that as of 9 p.m., LUS is reporting that about 50% of the city is without power while about 60-70% of the parish is without power.

According to Cleco, more than 41,000 customers are without power across the state as Hurricane Delta moves across Acadiana.
