A Lafayette man wanted on rape charges was arrested on Monday morning.
The Lafayette Parish Sheriff's Offcie says that 44-year-old Leon Fava was apprehended and arrested at 10:15 am at the Discovery Inn & Suites on Kaliste Saloom Road in Lafayette.
Fava was booked on a charge of 1st Degree Rape and is currently being held at the Lafayette Parish Correctional Center.
