LAFAYETTE, La. — A man is in stable condition after being shot multiple times on North Washington Street in Lafayette Tuesday evening.
Lafayette Police responded to the 600 block at 6 p.m. in reference to a shooting incident. There, they found the victim lying in the roadway, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
First responders administered first aid and were joined by Acadian Ambulance personnel.
The victim was transported to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries, and was listed in stable condition at the time of this writing.
There is no suspect information at this time, and the investigation is ongoing.
